AIKIDO ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA
The Aikido Association of America was founded by the late Fumio Toyoda Shihan in 1984. Toyoda Shihan was a live-in student of the late Doshu Kisshomaru Ueshiba. In 1974, Toyoda Shihan came to the United States and brought Aikido to the Chicago area. His legacy continues on through his son Tatsuo Toyoda as the President of the Aikido Association of America and the thousands of students that he has taught.
